Winter Coat Drive
|
In the United States, 1 in 7 Americans is currently living below the poverty threshold. Many families don't have the necessary resources to stay warm this winter.
United Mission for Relief & Development works with C-World Teenager Volunteer to help Afghan refugee families to get warmth in this cold winter. With the help of our volunteers, we collected thousands of pieces of clothing from many communities, including our school. We delivered thousands of clothes to hundreds of Afghan refugees on Dec. 11, 2021, and it was a great success. Many thanks to all who donated or helped deliver clothes. |
HSK Test Tutoring
Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi(HSK) Test is one of the most authoritative Mandarin tests designed by Beijing Culture and Language University and directly operated by the Chinese Education Bureau. The test has recently become a major test for all students in the Mandarin program in BIM. If they reached level 6 of the test, students could get scholarships and free trips to China in the summer.
Projects DoneBecause C-World is a newborn organization, we have not got many chances to work on projects. However, we have brought in volunteers to help with some school projects. For example, we brought in volunteers to make extra lanterns and to help put them up for the decoration for Mid-moon Festival.
